FACC honors premium suppliers

For the 14th time we have honored ourtop suppliers with the FACC "Supplier Excellence Awards" in gold, silver, bronze and the "Special Performance Award".
Over 190 key suppliers took part in the FACC Supplier Conference at the "Messezentrum Ried" on the 9th of May. The highlight of our supplier conference was the presentation of the 14th "Supplier Excellenze Awards" for exemplary supplier performance.
This year we look back on 30 years of FACC history - 30 years in which we increased our headcount from 102 to 3.500 and our sales from 6 million to 589.2 million. However, this development would not have been possible without the successful cooperation and partnership with our suppliers. In order to highlight the performance of our best partners, we have awarded the FACC "Supplier Excellence Awards" in gold, silver, bronze and the "Special Performance Award".
Within the scope of the FACC Supplier Conference, CEO Robert Machtlinger presented the business strategy of the enterprise and emphasized the importance of quality, operative excellence, social responsibility, as well as genuine partnership in supplier management. The conference was an opportunity for all participants to understand the requirements of the market and the end customers, to mutually adjust objectives, and to adequately honor the performances of the best supplier partners.
The conference was an excellent forum to strengthen our supplier relationships and to communicate the most important strategic priorities ensuring a powerful partnership. A strong supply chain is key to our business activities as a recognized technology partner for the global aerospace industry. I am very happy that so many supplier partners joined this important conference. Further events will follow so we can shape the mobility of the future together.

The highlight of the event was the presentation of the "Supplier Excellence Awards". We have honored our four best partners for their special performances in the fields of product quality, reliability, cooperation, customer service, as well as efficiency enhancement and process-optimizing measures.
„Supplier Ecxellence Award“ in gold
Isovolta AG - an internationally leading manufacturer of composites - was honored as the best supplier. The Austrian company has been reliably supplying us with pre-pregs, especially for the Cabin Interiors Division, for more than 20 years. Our partner is determined by material and technology know-how, as well as efficiency throughout the order management process.
„Supplier Ecxellence Award“ in silver
The German company FlammAerotec GmbH received the "Supplier Excellence Award" in silver. The manufacturer produces sheet metal formed parts and machined parts of highest precision according to premium standards.
„Supplier Excellence Award“ in bronze
As a competent partner for C-parts management, we presented Kellner & Kunz AG with the "Supplier Excellence Award" in bronze. The Upper Austrian company is a leading commercial enterprise and service provider in the field of tools, chemical-technical products, as well as fastening technology and work safety.
„Special Performance Award“
We have honored Scholz Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG with the "Special Performance Award" for its outstanding performance: Last year, the German supplier manufactured and installed two autoclaves - one of them featuring a length of 19.9 meters and a diameter of 6.1 meters, which makes it the biggest one ever applied by FACC.
It is always a pleasure for us to honor our suppliers for their excellent performances in the past year. Their continued commitment ensures that we can offer innovative solutions that meet the requirements of our customers.
